Thorco hosts Red cross collection

The annual collection day of Danish Red Cross, held this year on October 4, is one of the most important days for the organization. Every year, more than 18,000 volunteers spend 3 hours of their time on a Sunday afternoon to collect donations from door to door.
This year, Thorco Shipping took an active part of this collection day by hosting the local collection in the Hellerup area. A total number of 180 collectors showed up at the Thorco headquarter to pick up their collection tins and also enjoyed the cake and other sweets arranged for the day. Christian Stadil also showed up to give his support, not only to the Danish Red Cross but also to the many volunteers, who did a fantastic job on the day. All in all, over DKK 25 million was donated on the collection day, 132,000 of them collected in the Hellerup area alone.
Thorco Shipping are happy to have been part of this great achievement and are looking forward to many great moments together with the Danish Red Cross in the future.

Thorco Shipping already have a great partnership with the Danish Red Cross through the charitable vessel Thorco Africa, securing a minimum of DKK 150,000 for relief aid every year.
