New office in Genoa, Italy

In the wake of constant and steady growth, Thorco Shipping Denmark A/S, are pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Genoa under the name of Thorco Shipping Italy Srl.
The company will be a Carriers’ fully authorized booking office, being established with the specific aim to increase the level of service and performance for the customers and clients in Italy and in the Mediterranean Areas, in general.
The new office will be headed by Mr Mauro Morasso, who has many years of experience in the shipping industry and especially in the project market.
Historically, Thorco have always worked with clients in south Europe and in the Mediterranean hubs. The new office will have a fresh challenge to re-position Thorco and take advantage of new opportunities given, by exploiting a fleet that is constantly expanding in numbers and size of vessels.
Thorco Shipping A/S are currently operating a fleet of around 45 multipurpose vessels in the size-range from 4,000 dwat up to 20,000 dwat and geared up to 300ts lifting capacity, with head office in Denmark and branch offices in Bremen, Singapore, Hong Kong, Rio de Janeiro, Houston and now Genoa.
